Summer 2009 Season

Summer is here, our grass courts are open and we are already taking full advantage of the settled weather so do come and visit the club - members will be around to welcome you on Saturdays and Sundays around 1.30pm / 2pm.

Membership forms and newsletters are available at the bar. Juniors are welcome to join the club on Saturday mornings between 9am and 10.30am and teenagers between 5.30pm to 7pm Saturday evenings.

Dulwich Lawn Tennis Club is a section of Dulwich Sports Club which was founded in 1867. We have 5 all-weather hard courts (3 with floodlights) and there are 6 grass courts which are normally in use until late October. Coaching is offered to all levels in a structured programme from the club's resident professional coaching staff.

The ground is situated by the railway arches on Burbage Road, between Herne Hill and Dulwich Village. With excellent facilities for cricket, croquet and squash, as well as tennis, our large club house overlooks the cricket pitch and croquet lawns. Its facilities include a fully licensed bar with Sky Sports, a pool table and table-tennis table, changing rooms and showers. The club offers tennis to players both young and old, and of all abilities - from those new to the game, to players competing in National Leagues. For more details on competitions see the Teams page. Most importantly the club is known for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Men's 1st Team Champions of Surrey League Div B

Congratulations to the Men's 1st team on winning their division in the Surrey Winter League. Next Winter they will be in the A Division which is as high as we have ever been. At that kind of level you see ex-national league players and I expect they will get an audience for home games.
